Abstract
Vietnamese higher education institutions have increasingly integrated technology into their teaching and learning. This study examines the e-learning experiences of 659 pedagogical students at two teacher-training universities in southern Vietnam. Using a comparative case study approach, investigates the institutional contexts and outcomes of e-learning adoption. Informed by national digital transformation policies and recent experiences with e-learning implementation, both universities have accelerated the integration of online modules into their formal programs in the post-COVID-19 era. Overall, students were positive toward the online environment and e-learning courses. While Ho Chi Minh City University of Education students appreciated the availability of e-learning services, those at Can Tho University were even more favorable but expressed lower satisfaction with specific course components. These findings provide valuable insights for enhancing technological infrastructure and course design to support effective e-learning.
